2010 Yankees Postseason parking : $40-$50

This season the Yankees have had trouble filling up parking lots around the stadium and their is some talk that the city of New York may have to default on some bonds. For the regular season it cost $23 to park, an increase from 2009 when it was $19. But for this postseason run the prices will be $40 according to Baseball-Parking.com , the official parking site of the Yankees. It will cost $40 to self park or $50 for valet.

It amazes me how much they would charge for parking when the surround area is one of the most accessible in New York with three different subway trains along with the metro north. I can remember in the early 2000's when it cost $10 to park and it seemed like alot, now it has become outrageous and price increases for the regular season could come again in 2011. What makes wanting to park even more ridiculous is the though of also having to pay for tolls and the cost of gas.I know that during this Postseason, I will be taking mass transit and avoiding the hassle of the parking around the Bronx.
