The Yankees have clinched a playoff birth and although with the way this team is playing, they may not have the same magical run as last season, you never know what will happen in October. This past week the Yanks released a few tickets to the general public for the ALDS and ALCS. Not many Yankees fans walked away with tickets, but a few were to be had in the Terreace and Field Levels.
So yesterday I was bored and happened to check if the Yankees had released any tickets, well sure enough they have for most of the ALDS and ALCS games. For the most part the tickets were wheelchair accessible, standing room only, cafe seating and even a few field level and main level seats for under $150. Not a bad deal to see a playoff game. The only issue that may come along is that for ALDS game 1 and 2 you can ONLY get print at home tickets, not hard tickets.
If you are someone who doesn't want to stand or is looking for a deal, keep checking Stubhub. So many people this year purchased ticket plans banking on losing a few bucks during the regular season but purchasing Postseason tickets and making a profit. Well as long as you have some knowledge of economics you would know that excess supply equals lower price if the demand is not their. Already prices for the ALDS are much cheaper then they were last season. If the weather is bad on the day of the game you may even be able to find tickets for below face.
If you already have your tickets as the Yankees race for # 28 then your all set. But many fans (who actually want to go to the game and not resell) do not have tickets, so keep checking Ticketmaster which is known to release tickets closer to the event and Stubhub for a chance to experience October baseball in the Bronx.
