With the Yankees tied at 2-2 with the Mariners in the Eight inning Alex Rodriguez connected for a go ahead home that would give the Yankees a 4-2 win. Making A-Rod five homers away from 600. One thing that the Al pal may remember about this homer is that he though it was a walk off. "I thought I hit a much bigger home run than I actually hit,'' Rodriguez said. "I looked over at A.J. [Burnett] and [Andy] Pettitte in the dugout and they weren't moving. That's when I kinda started to figure we had one more half-inning to play. It was pretty embarrassing.''
